Almost intuitively, your thought would have began scanning through your experiences and personal information archives; in order to discover the most important gift of your life. I will not be surprised if you took a short trip to your bank account statement to estimate your current balance, if it may represent your important gift in life. You could have also discovered that you have more than a mere bank balance; you could have realized that your wife or husband is the most important gift in your life. And if you are not fully persuaded about your spouse or fiancée or fiancé being your most important gift; you could just tell yourself, now I know the most important gift of my life….It is my talent!
If I say well-done for all you have done, while searching for the most important gift of your life; you could think you're right with your conclusion. I will not say that you are wrong though; however, I will help you as I am helped by the Lord to discover your most important gift.
We all know that precious things or objects are scarcely available on the surfaces of this world. Objects like gold, petroleum, Diamond, and Iron Ore are usually buried in the earth; therefore, for any meaningful wealth to be enjoyed by man, man must dig deep into the earth to uncover these endless endowments of God for mankind. If we think that the entire wealth of the earth is only buried in the earth and all we do daily is to work hard on the earth, digging deep to uncover more riches – all we will get is all that the earth possesses.
Do you realize that your body was formed originally from the portion of the earth; that is, your body contains some compositions of the earth. What is true to the earth is equally true to your body. The point is, if God buried the wealth of mankind in the earth; don’t you think therefore that a portion of the wealth of the earth is equally buried inside you? This might be a bit hard for you to swallow; but if you do; living will become easy and excellent for you.
You are not a product of accident; in fact, you are not a product of your parents; you are not a product of your society. In reality, you are a product of purpose in God. I have equally discovered that your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual compositions are not haphazardly attached to your life; rather, they were and they are purposefully added to your life. What you like and what you don’t like didn’t just happen; they are products of your purpose. It is purpose that necessitates your design. That man that calls you the only beautiful thing in his life; might not be lying to you; however, your beauty was not given to you for fun; but for a purpose. Hence, your most important gift from God cannot be your beauty or intelligence or status or family; but your purpose, which necessitate all of them.
If you can receive this; I am of the opinion that your wife or husband might not be the most important gift of God in or for your life. I am of the persuasion that your wife or husband was given or will be given to you because of your purpose. In fact, the foundation of all you will ever have or all you have is not your education or exposure or experience; but your purpose. You may love money, or women or popularity. But if only you understand life and influence; you would begin to love your purpose. Your purpose is the real thing in your life that makes God to smile when He thinks of you. Your purpose is your greatest treasure from God. When you therefore deny it, of forget it or abuse it or disregard it; your entire life becomes NOTHING, MEANINGLESS, VALUELESS, WORTHLESS and FOCUSLESS.
Whether you will ever amount to anything significant in life as a Politician, Engineer, Medical Doctor, Animal Scientist, Nurse, Fashion Designer, Author, Writer, Artiste, or Pastor is not much of your education, income, exposure, connection or even your leadership training. Your greatness is tied to your increasing understanding and deployment of your greatest treasure for life and fulfillment in business, politics, entertainment, sports, ministry, or education; which is your PURPOSE! I therefore humbly, but passionately submit that your PURPOSE is your most important gift from God. Discover it, Embrace it, Refine yourself for it and Unleash your potentials in it.
