This is shown by the fact that God sets another day, which is called "Today." Many years later he spoke of it through David in the scripture already quoted: "If you hear God's voice today, do not be stubborn."
Hebrews 4:7 (Good News Translation)
Generations come and generations go, but the world stays just the same.
Ecclesiastes 1:4 (Good News Translation)
Across the world, GENERATIONS are accumulations of seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks and years. But lest we become overwhelmed with those details, we would focus on the word DAY; and our target is to see how we could all draw maximally, every available resource, strength, blessing and opportunity in this day.
Today is our focus as we launch into a new day, a special one as such (20/02/2020)! The question in my heart is, "What makes today special from other days?" I believe that every day is special; however, we often ignore the reality with our stylish "busyness". Every day is unique and every day comes with loaded packages for everyone (enough to go around); yet, most of us end the day without receiving our own unique and special portions from the LORD God. Do you still remember the word of Jesus Christ when He taught the disciples on how to pray?
7“When you pray, don’t babble on and on as the Gentiles do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again. Don’t be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him! Pray like this:
Our Father in heaven,
may your name be kept holy.
May your Kingdom come soon.
May your will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven.
Give us today the food we need,
and forgive us our sins,
as we have forgiven those who sin against us.
And don’t let us yield to temptation,
but rescue us from the evil one.
Matthew 6:7-13 (NLT)
The truth is, there is a food you NEED for TODAY; and again, there is a PROVISION from the LORD for you TODAY to meet that need. The question is, "Are you trusting enough to ask God for your supply for TODAY?"
