What I intend to share with you is a profound truth that wont allow me to keep quiet. Sometime ago, Jesus said to a people around Him, "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32). What kills a lot of people isn't much of anything seriously outside their ignorance. The Yoruba people of South-Western Nigeria normally say, "What you don't know is higher or older than you"; implying that ignorance keeps any people or person under faster than any other thing.
According the book of Genesis 2:7; we understand how God made man, "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being." While I know that you might have read that Scripture a couple of times; I discovered something in that portion of the bible that builds some understanding in me on how God created and made man. The will of God for man was clearly spelt out in Genesis 1:26, "…..creature made in the image and likeness of God, endowed with dominion over the earth and its inhabitants". Being created in the image and likeness of God; man was further formed from the dust of the ground. The ground is a portion of the earth, that God used to make a body for man.
Although, the body of man was formed from the dust of the ground; there was no movement, progress or activity on the formed body until God breathed into the nostril of the formed body – releasing the breath (spirit) of life into the formed body. And as soon as that spirit (breath) of life came into the formed body; then, the formed body became a LIVING BEING. The question then is, "What is the meaning of man becoming a living being?" Remember, God had created (intended) man to be in His image and according to His likeness for the purpose of exercising dominion on earth; therefore, to make that intention possible; a portion of God's Spirit was released into the formed body – and as soon as that was done; the body came to life! There was a visible movement, activity and all the organs were functioning in perfect synchrony. The entire body was activated to function as designed. As God's Spirit entered the formed body; every part of man began to to live – every part performed whatever the Creator meant it to do inside man. The brain worked well, the kidneys were optimally functional; the digestive, respiratory and the nervous systems all began to work well. Everything went so well that God evaluated His creation of man and gave Himself a great pass mark. (Genesis 1:31)
Don't forget, a living being is a creature of God that functions holistically as created and formed. A being is not living if some parts are not functional as designed. Soon after God released His Spirit of life into the body, life came into man; bringing every part of man to a place of perfection and peace.
However, problem arises for the formed body of man, any time the Spirit (breath) of life that came from God leaves the body. Since it was God who created man, only His Spirit in any man can produce perfection within the body of any man. Should the Spirit (breath) of life departs from any man, and an unclean (fallen) spirit (angel) possess the body; then, that formed body will be robbed of its capacity to function as designed.
For some of us that have some idea on how Mobile Phones or Computers (Laptops or Desktops) works; we would remember that devices are usually designed to perferm certain functions; however, until the right OS (Operating System) is installed into them; they may misbehave or become faulty. A system that was designed to work with Windows Server 2018 OS, which is now made to have Windows 98 OS, will definitely malfunction. For every design, there is a corresponding spirit (OS or any other such). God did not design the organs of man to be powered by the unclean spirits (demons); and so, any time a man or woman is possessed by demons; they end up malfunctioning (either been wicked, being contentious or even been sick).
For us to get this point better, let us quickly consider something that happened some 2, 018 years ago in Israel:
And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.”
Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.
Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”
So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”
Matthew 17:14-21
Epilepsy is a central nervous system (neurological) disorder in which brain activity becomes abnormal, causing seizures or periods of unusual behavior, sensations, and sometimes loss of awareness.
Because epilepsy is caused by abnormal activity in the brain, seizures can affect any process your brain coordinates. Seizure signs and symptoms may include:
- Temporary confusion
- A staring spell
- Uncontrollable jerking movements of the arms and legs
- Loss of consciousness or awareness
- Psychic symptoms such as fear, anxiety or deja vu
If you read the verses above very carefully, you will understand that man was never created and made to behave well with demons inside him. Your correctness is only by the presence of God's Spirit inside of you. Already, the boy had been named An Epileptic by his father – for he had remained in that condition for so long; you may also be called a drunkard; an harlot; or you are called a thief. I beg to disagree with those who call you a drunkard being, harlot being, stealing being or any other name aside the Living Being that you were originally. What you do is not what you were created and made to do; it is been by the influence of an unclean spirit you for so long. If the unclean spirit leaves your life today; you will no longer be able to do those unclean things. Your health problems of late aren't because of any medical term you to describe the situation – you're simply been afflicted by an unclean (fallen) spirit (angel). If you allow God to work on you right now; and you invite His Holy Spirit back into your formed body; your brain, kidney, vocal cord, ear drums, liver and heart will function perfectly once more.
Today could be your own day of deliverance; allow God's word to set you free from the affliction of the power of darkness. The demons can make a man dumb, mute, sick or blind or become physically handicapped. Now is not the time to cry over the past pains you have experienced in your body; it is time to rebuke every unclean or demonic spirit hanging around your life.
I this day proclaim your freedom from the power of darkness in Jesus name. I proclaim your liberty in Christ Jesus. Only the Holy Spirit is required for your perfect functioning on earth. I command every unclean spirit inside you to come out of you and never to return in Jesus Name. Amen! Share your testimony with your friends and family – share with me if you can! God be in and with you all your days in Jesus name. Amen! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! You are free from that addiction! That pain leaves you now! Go and sin no more! Be established in your spirit as a force of dominion on earth in Jesus name. Amen!
