Building A Team for Worship: Unraveling The Mystery Around Worship, Warfare And Ministry

While I was meditating on this topic, I was quickly made to realize the light or slight difference between worship team, which we are familiar with, and team for worship. Now, the worship team that we are familiar with is a group of people in a domination or in a church that gathers together to sing praises unto God. And so, when you see people coming together as a worship team, they are identified as singers who sing to God. So, when we see them, we look at them as a people who sing. Do we understand? A people that sing, hence we say; worship team.

Listen To Podcast: BUILDING A TEAM FOR WORSHIP: UNRAVELING THE MYSTERY AROUND WORSHIP, WARFARE AND MINISTRY

Now, another thing is "a team for worship", and there is a light difference between them. "Worship Team" and "Team for Worship": Towards Us Finding How to Build A Team for Worship. I am sure we remember, that is our grand objective. The Lord wants to show us the process, or what it means to build a Team For Worship. So, I was clarifying that there is a slight difference between . "Worship Team" and "Team for Worship." A worship team is a group of people that are known to be singers who worship God. Now, a team for worship is a team that is raised up or gather together for a purpose of worshipping. Now, it looks as if they are the same, but there is a difference and perhaps, I trust that the Holy Spirit will show us as we continue in our study.

And that title already suggests to us that there is an agenda. The agenda is not just to build a team or have a people, but the agenda is worship. So, we don't just have a group or a team of five people coming together and referring themselves as members of the worship team. The goal is not just to gather them, and the goal is not even in their number, perhaps how plenty they are to show that they are successful team. Their success is not in their number. So, from having the phrase: "Worship Team" or "A Team for worship", we are shown that the objective is that they may worship. It is not just that they are a people that love to sing; their purpose is in them worshipping. And I want us to look at that worship from another angle today so that we will see whether we have actually been a people or worship or a people for worship; or we have just been a people. And I really want to say that again because if we have that background, then whatever we are going to be hearing will be of benefit to us.

Now, it is one thing to have a group of people who are identified and they are gather together for a purpose, and they are beautiful people. It is another thing for God or for us to have a people who are gather together for the purpose of achieving a goal. I am sure we know that is actually what team means. Team has to do with people coming together to achieve a common goal. Now, the goal here is not just that they sing. The goal is that they worship. And so, we want to look at what God has in stock or as an agenda for us as a people at this time. Let us begin from the book of Genesis to see something that we can learn from. Genesis chapter 22, I will read verse 3 and I will read verse 5. It is a familiar story and so we will begin from it.

"So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him."

So, we will notice that this journey involved Abraham, Isaac and a few people. So, we can say they were a team. But they were not just a team who just wanted to carry wood or carry this and that. They had a purpose. God had told him to go to a place. Now, let us see in verse 5.

"And Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey; the lad and I will go yonder and worship, and we will come back to you.”

The question we could ask is: Were they going to sing "Hallelujah for the Lord God omnipotent reigned", is that what they were going to do? No! But they were going to worship! That is what the man said, and this worship was not just something that they wanted to do; it was something that the Lord required. Now, verse 3 already showed us that God had told him a place to go to. So, the foundation was not his idea, God instructed him to worship him. And so, they began the journey and they got to a place where he told others; "stay here, myself and this boy will go further and worship God." And so, we must understand that building a team for worship is not something just about singing "hosanna" to God or about the songs we sing, it is beyond it.

And there is something about this worship that is actually spiritual beyond what we have always been taking it to be. It is not just about the melody of the songs we sing, or the things we say we do. You know sometimes we say "we are going for worship", when we are going to church in the morning we say "we are going for worship, there is a worship service." And then, you ask yourself: this worship service that you told yourself you are going for, is it just about the singing, or there is something more to it. That is what the Holy Spirit wants to share with us, since we are in a Bible school. Alright!

Let us again see Exodus chapter 7:16, because there are actually three key words we want to look at around this, and we will be finding them as we move on. I am sure we still remember how God called Moses for an assignment, now let us what verse 16 says:

"And you shall say to him, ‘The Lord God of the Hebrews has sent me to you, saying, “Let My people go, that they may serve Me in the wilderness”; but indeed, until now you would not hear!"

Now, it began from Exodus chapter 3 when God encountered Moses, to chapter 4 when God told him the specific goal, the thing He wanted to achieve. It was as if a people of God had been in Egypt for so long in poverty, in bondage. And so, God came to Moses and say in a way; "build me a team for worship." And that I believe is what the Lord is telling us in our own time. "Build me a team for worship." This is a people robbed and plundered, they are all scattered, they are like sheep without a shepherd, build me a team, let them come together for a goal of worship. And now, God gave us a synonym for worship in that Exodus 7:16. It says: “Let My people go, that they may serve Me." That must be another dimension of worship, that worship is not just you singing, it is you serving God. So, it is deeper than you singing. Your singing is an aspect of your service to God. But your service to God is an holistic thing. And so, we can see another thing. In that Genesis 22 that we read, we saw how God told Abraham, and Abraham even said it himself, "myself and this boy will go further to worship." And in Exodus, we saw how God said to Moses, "tell Pharaoh to let my people go that they may go and serve me." Another word for "serve me" here is "worship me."

So, we can begin to see that there is a deeper desire in God, and I want you to notice, from generation past till generation to come, worship has never been anyone's idea. No man originates worship. No man of his own volition wants to just worship. It is always God that is seeking worship, and I want us to note that. Man does not just come up with the idea of worshipping; it is God. Genesis 22, we saw it that it was God that told Abraham to go and worship Him. Now, in Exodus, God also says “tell them to Let My people go, so that they may worship Me." Can we see? The primary desire of God is that we worship Him, and worshipping God is beyond singing songs, that is the point.

Let us go to another place: Joshua chapter 24 verse 15. We seems to be picking it from the beginning. Joshua 24:15 is a Scripture that we are aware of. The Bible says: "And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord (we are hearing the word "serve the Lord" again), choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served." Can we see that? Now, when we hear the word "worship" today or we hear "offer sacrifices" or "appease", it is always tied to a people who either worshipping the living God or the Most High God or worshipping an unknown god or a demon somewhere. Do we understand? Now, when we hear of "gods", we hear of those things like worship and sacrifices.

And now, Joshua, under the inspiration of God was instructing the people and perhaps was advising the people. He said "And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord." If you now think it is an evil thing when we say you should serve the Lord; don't forget, worship is always requested by God. It is not as if a man willingly gives it to God because men don't always want to worship as it is. So, at this point, Joshua was saying if you think it is a big deal for you to worship the Lord, let me help you to get it. He said to them; "choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve," because you are actually living on this earth for service. You are living on this earth to worship, you are in wherever you are to worship, and if you think that worship is all about you just singing songs, then perhaps, you should be singing song everywhere you are.

But beyond it, lest you think when you are not singing, you are not worshipping; that is why we are looking at this. Lest you sing, until you sing, you don't worship, we are also looking at this.  "Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served, that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve (worship) the Lord."

So, it looks as if while many people want to look for jobs, God is looking for a people who will have a job or a preoccupation of service unto Him. If we quickly take our minds back into kingdom era, we know that kings are the lords and the masters of their kingdoms. So, kings have all the monies in the kingdom, they have all the lands in the kingdom; and then when a man grows up in the kingdom, the desire of that man is to serve the king. And when your king sees your service, you are rewarded by the king. That is simply the attitude of the kingdom. Any kingdom on this earth, and the one that is in the Middle East, the Dubai that people go to; people there are rewarded by their king or by the Emir or the Sheikh of Dubai for the services they render to the kingdom. Whether it is the British kingdom or any other kingdom, all kingdoms exists like that.

People rise up in kingdoms to serve the king. That is why there is a tendency for the king to also request for worship. Many kings in their desire for more power and more glory; they demand worship from their people because people actually want to serve them by default, so, they want to take it deeper. And that is for us to see the link between worship and service. So, if you are a son of the kingdom of God; the question you should ask yourself is: What is your primary desire? Would you love to go and work under other kings or you want to work under your king? Would you call what you do for God a hobby or you call it a work? When God ask you to do something for Him; would you say "you are just passing time or you are doing something that gives you a great joy and fulfillment?" Knowing fully well that whether you will be rewarded or punished in life will be tied to that thing that God demands from you?

Many of us, we have assumed that worship is a religion and is religious. And so, when we hear worship, we think that we are doing a religious service which must be done on Sundays. Now knowing that worship is what we must do from Mondays till Sundays. Worship is what God demands, and God is not living it to us to figure it out, God is demanding it. And we will soon see another verse that shows us that. Worship is not what you do per time, worship is what you do full -time. Do we understand? Joshua told them to choose, but as for him and his house, his generation will serve the Lord, will be God's servant. You see, whether you are a Medical Doctor in Britain today, as long as you are working for the government, you are a royal servant. You are serving the Queen, you are serving the Royalty. You are serving the throne. So, whether you are in the military, or you are working in the farm, or you are working anywhere, you are a Royal servant.

So, how many of us will love to see ourselves as God's servant and we don't put it to certain set of people, and we don't do what the people did during the time of Moses when they told him to go up and meet with God and says "leave us here, whatever it is that God shows you, come and show us." That was not the original plan. God didn't want it that we should serve Him through other men, so to say, like Moses the servant of the Lord, the people the servants of Moses. That was not how it was supposed to be! We have been made a kingdom of Priests and Kings, a royal priesthood. So, you are to serve God in whatever capacity you find yourself, knowing fully well that your primarily a servant of God, knowing that what God requests from you is not your naira and kobo, it is your service.

"This is a people robbed and plundered." Even in Exodus, we were shown how they were oppressed by their taskmasters. And when God wanted to take them out of that experience, He said "let my people go that they may serve me." It is not as if they will leave serving men, to perhaps, serving themselves, No! Serving ourselves is never supposed to be part of it. You are either serving men or you are serving God. So, what is the gain in you serving men? You are a servant of men. Wouldn't you rather be a servant of the king? That is number one thought.

Now, we see that God, as it was in the time of Moses, God is in the project of building a team for service, a team for worship. Now, let us see another verse, because what we have been looking at currently now is worship, building a team for worship. But very soon, we will start seen other synonyms, we will start taking that service in another angle, and we will start seeing more things. John 4:21-24; building a team for worship. The Bible says:

"Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. 22 You worship what you do not know;"

"You worship what you do not know", you are serving what you don't know. And, since you don't know whom you are serving, you don't know whom to receive reward from. You are rewarded by the one that you serve. If you are completely blindfolded in service, then you will be shortchanged in reward. Why are you complaining that you are struggling in life when you are serving those you don't know? It says: "You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. 23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers.." You know, those who are playing football, we call them "footballers", those who are playing basketball, we call them "basketballers." When you are farming, you are called a farmer. Once you are doing military job, you are called a soldier. Now, those who worship God are called what "worshippers." Now, do we now think it is a group of 21 people in a big church that are worshippers? Is it true? Is it supposed to be?

We cannot relegate worship to what 21 people do in a church once a week. It says: "the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” In the passage above it says "God is Spirit and those who worship Him", which looks as if that is their preoccupation and career. It is like those who play football, they wear booths. So, even thought you think you have a good leg, if you must be a footballer, then you must wear booth. It says those who worship God, those whose occupation is to worship God, those who would rather live and die to serve God, those who wouldn't mind whether they are in a risky or dangerous situation; if only they could just serve God, those who do that; they do it in Spirit and in truth.

Again we know in Daniel chapter 11, when the Bible says in verse 32; "But the people who know their God.." to show us. It is not as if this thing is, you know when they talk about marginalization, like marginalizing some people. "Until you are from a particular part of the country, you can't be in so and so place." God is not marginalizing, but the question is: How many of us are alive to our responsibilities? The people who are alive to their responsibility, they shall do it in Spirit and in truth. Do we see that? So, you ask yourself: what does it mean to worship in spirit and truth? These are the things that we should probe. And then, we must understand that those who worship. Now, are you one of those? Could it be that you are not one of those, yet, you want to benefit what they benefit. Their reward is what you desire to have. You want to live the kind of life they are living, you want to command what they command. You want to walk on water the way they walk on water. You want to have good health the way also have it, but you are not one of those who do it.

God does not want you to be looking at some people as worshippers of Him, He wants you to become a worshipper. That is why God is building a team for worship. This is not something that will just happen this evening, this is what God has been doing. When God is reconciling people unto Himself, He is doing it to raise a people for worship. A people who would serve Him. Who would you call Daniel in those days? Would you say Daniel was a government politician; would you say Daniel was a singer or a prayer man? In summary, Daniel was a worshipper of God. In fact, when the king put him in the then of Lion, the king came back in the morning to find out whether he made it over night.

And when he came to the den, he cried out with a lamenting voice to Daniel. The king spoke, saying to Daniel, “Daniel, servant of the living God, has your God, whom you serve continually (not on Sundays alone, not when there is a national holiday), been able to deliver you from the lions?” 22 My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.”

Daniel 6:20, 22

So, if you want to know whom you serve, whom would you rather obey? You know, it looks like when the apostles said "judge you among yourselves whether it would be convenient for us to obey you or to obey God." Those who serve men would obey men and displease God. But when you disobey God, can men save you from God? When you disobey men, God is able to save you, especially if you disobey men when you are obey God. Because service is about obeying God. When you are serving God, you are obeying Him. So, when God attaches you with a man or a woman, you must obey God there, and you will rather obey God than obey that kind of person or authority. So, it is when you are obeying God that they think you are obeying men.

If they cross the line, you must let them know that we are serving a living God and we cannot bow to your god, like the three Hebrew brothers. We saw the story. "Our God whom we serve, whom we worship is able to deliver us." The questions is why didn't these three brothers also do like that? Why didn't they fake it? But they must never be found obeying men and disobeying God. That was the greatest mistake of Adam and his wife Eve. You can't put the command of God and the command of men side by side and you tell yourself "I am a worshipper of God." He says "Worship God in Spirit and in truth." You know, Spirit also signifies the invisible. In the times when you think you can't see, or no one can see you, can you be truthful to God? Would you rather say no man is seeing me but God is seeing me so, I must be truthful to Him. I will never disobey God. Even though it looks like a small matter, and I might likely suffer, I will still obey God. That is worship!

You now ask me; is that tied to singing? Is it not possible to be singing to God and be disobeying God in your songs? Although people see you as a worship leader, but you are a rebel in front of the people. You can sing unto God and yet disobey Him. You can be praying and yet be disobeying Him. You must submit to God, that is worship. Even though your life could be at risk, you must continue it. Now, let us go to the second side of worship. Ephesians chapter 6 from verse 10. The Bible says:

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."

Now, if you see from verse 10, to that verse that we stopped, we will that there was a statement made there in that verse 12 that we must never joke with. You know, when you look at a football match for instance, maybe you have a team called Manchester United and another team that is called Chelsea, now both teams have players. So, the players see themselves as players serving different clubs. But when they have to play against themselves, they see themselves as wrestlers, wrestling against themselves, each fighting to win the match of the clubs that paid them respectively. The goal is for somebody can score a goal and the team of the club that scores can win. Now, Bible says "we do not wrestle" we do not fight, we do not compete with flesh and blood. No wonder the Bible says those who worship God, them must do it in spirit, why? You are worshipping God against the other worshippers of other gods, who are also in the spirit. So, why are you in the flesh?

When you are wrestling against hard enemies, you don't become soft. So, your worship is not 'jelenke', according to Yoruba people, it is not like you are flexing. You don't flex in the battle ground, and what worship means is warfare. Do you think it was a rosy thing for Abraham to worship God when he said "I and the boy we are going yonder to worship", was he going to do Christmas? Was he going for merrying and partying, No!. He was about to kill his own son in obedience to God. It looks like someone who is bearing seeds and is weeping as he is bearing it. You don't joke with such a person. We are in a fight with spiritual beings, when you are worshipping, you are actually doing it in spirit, you are obeying your God and you are also going to be wrestling against those who are also obeying their gods.

So, there are people in your neighbohood, your office who are just there obeying their gods. You are thinking they are normal human beings, but they are not, they are worshippers. Worshippers of their gods and the desire of their gods they will do. But you will rather be a gentle person, and they come with all manner of things, and they display all manner of things, they terrorize your office you will rather keep quiet than to be identified with your God. Let God be true and every man a liar. Your worship to God is not on Sunday morning. We have seen so many people who are corrupt in their offices and yet, they are the ones forming holy on Sundays. God is not looking for those kind of worshippers; but He is looking for those who will worship Him in Spirit and in truth.

Should God begin to judge those who claim they are worshipping Him, how many people will be left in our churches? So, don't tell yourself when I am going on Sunday morning, I am going to worship. In fact, when you are going on a Monday morning too, you are going to worship. On your way back from your office, you are worshipping, you are an ambassador of God driving home, you are an ambassador of God in your office. Obeying God keeps you in command and makes you to be in service. Your disobedient to God is what removes you from service. Once you start disobeying God, you cannot then expect the pecks of office to come to you. God is too true and too faithful to fail you. If you have lack, then you should examine how you do the service.

Two things is at stake when you mess up in service: Your life and the purpose of God. That is why Bible says no one who lays his hand on the plough and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God. You cannot serve God acceptably when you are looking back, because when you look  back, you will die and then the purpose will suffer. In the book of Joel chapter 2, from verse 1-11, we can read it on our own time. But I will read from verse 7.

They run like mighty men,
They climb the wall like men of war;

(Those who do something like men of war, are they not also in warfare?)

Every one marches in formation,
And they do not break ranks.
8 They do not push one another;
Every one marches in his own column.
Though they lunge between the weapons, (To show it is a warfare)

They are not cut down.
9 They run to and fro in the city,
They run on the wall;
They climb into the houses,
They enter at the windows like a thief.

The earth quakes before them,
The heavens tremble;
The sun and moon grow dark,
And the stars diminish their brightness.
11 The Lord gives voice before His army,
For His camp is very great;
For strong is the One who executes His word.
For the day of the Lord is great and very terrible;
Who can endure it?

Verse 11 made us to realize that this is not a group of touts, just jumping around, marching. These are people that are called the army of God. Verse 11 says "The Lord Gives voice over His army, For His camp is very great." Already in verse 2, a place there says "a people come, great and strong" His camp is great, and their greatness is in their obedience to God and the knowledge of God whom they are serving. Like we were told in Daniel 11:32, that the people who know their God, the people who are part of the army of God, the people who are worshippers of God, they shall be strong, their strength shall come in their knowledge of God, and since they are strong, since they know their God, they will carry out great exploit for God.

The reason why you have not done anything for God is because, number one: You don't know God, number two: you are weak. And your weakness is tied to your ignorance. My people perish for lack of knowledge. Your knowledge will put you in command, your knowledge, not of Physics and Chemistry; your knowledge of your God. When you know your God, you know yourself, and what God want you to learn, He teaches you. He will lead you to places and things that will expose you to the truth. And then, you are armed with the knowledge and you carry out great exploits. You must increase in your knowledge, you must know your God number one; and you must get to know what He has in stock for you.

There is a work for you, and that is the second side or third of worship. When you are looking at worship, you are looking at service, when you are looking at worship, you are looking at warfare. And that service also connotes working for God. And when you are working for God, you have your specific assignment, and that is why we want to see in Ephesians 4, so that you can see that there is a work for you. Ephesians 4 verse 7, verse 11 and verse 12.

Ephesians 4:7 says "But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift." Now, the word "each one of us" connotes each one of us. If in this place now I say "for each one of us here, Pen or biro has been given to us." That already connotes that there is nobody here who does not have a pen. Because the phrase "each one" is used when everyone is involved. The next thing is: what is that gift of Christ that he said has been given to each one of us? Ephesians 4:11 shows us. It says: "And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,." He gave some apostles. There was a place in 1 Corinthians where the Bible says "he set them first in the church, apostles", and then we started having the list. He set, He established; like when a new government comes onboard, what they do is to set up a cabinet, and then they begin to set up parastatals and departments of government, and then put people in command. And the essence of their command is so that they can execute the will of the government that has just come onboard.

So, when Christ assume authority in heaven and on earth, He gave some on this earth, some men, some people, apostles. So, that apostleship is a gift. You have not earned it, you have not worked for it. That appointment into that responsibility is a gift of Christ unto you and unto His church. Why? "for the equipping of the saints." When you read the book of Daniel and some other places in the Old Testament, you will be seeing the word "Saint." Now, we call ourselves Christians, but in those days; once you are serving God, you are a saint. And so, everyone who wants to serve God in Nigeria now, they are called the "Federal Government saints" (Civil Servants), and I want to show us.

Are you aware that if you are working with the Federal Government and you are on the high way, if only you can bring out your ID card, the police will tell you to go, do we agree? Once you are working with the government and they see a valid ID card; they threatened you less. Why? You are a government saint, you are working with the government. That is a high calling. It is a place of honor, working for the government. Now, if you are now working with the government as a uniform person, they will say "espiri de corp" and all manner of things and they allow you to go. So, you are seeing to be faultless. The problem of Nigeria is that those who are the saints of government are the ones perpetuating corruption, so, they let them pass and corruption has been passing for years.

Now, to let us know that when we are talking about saints, it is not a religious term, it is a kingdom term; once you are serving the king, you are a saint and so, once apostles, prophets and teachers have been sent by God to do is to equip those who are serving God. You are a servant of God and you are working in wherever you are working, you should be equipped by an apostle, by a prophet or by a pastor, an evangelist or a teacher, so that you can do that work effectively. It is not restricted to carrying Bible and preaching to people, even though you are working in the military, you require an apostle to teach you, you require a prophet to minister to you. I don't know if you understand?

Serving God is not restricted to what we are doing now. Wherever He sends you, you do the work He has committed into your hand. Even though it is going to be at the expense of your life, He says do it; knowing fully well that your reward is not from men, but from God, and you will be rewarded by the one who issues command to you. Why will America do everything to protect a soldier that is trapped in Iraq? Because the soldier is in Iraq, not because he loves Iraq, that is what we are saying. People don't want to worship. It is the government, the king that requests for worship. The soldier that is trapped in Iraq does not want to go there, the government sent him to Iraq and so, the government must do everything possible to get him out of danger in Iraq. And that is why God gives, God blesses, God provides for anyone who is on a mission to do the will of God wherever he is so sent by God.

If you are on a mission wherever God sends you, you are a servant of God. And you must never tell yourself you want to do the work anyhow, God is looking at you. He requests for service in spirit and in truth. Don't forget when you are serving God wherever God sends you, other people are serving other things in that place. And you see, since both of you are sent by different “Bosses”, there will be clash. Once the person who is your master is not the person who is their master, there will be clash. That is why when you are worshipping and serving God, when you are engaging in warfare under God, you must do it in spirit and in truth lest you lose your life for nothing and lest you fail before doing it.

Let me give us an ungodly example. A man that has been recruited by Boko Haram to go and detonate a bomb in a school, but along the way, as he is trekking in the bush, he mistakenly detonate the bomb and it explodes, is it not a waste to Boko Haram people? You don't want to be a waste to God. You don't want to get yourself detonated unfulfilled. Do we understand? That is why you have to worship God in spirit and in truth. Going forward from now, you don't worship God to please your family. You don't worship God to please a pastor or a bishop. You are worshipping God because you don't want to be detonated so to say before you reach your target. You don't want to leave this earth unfulfilled. And you don't want to disappoint God. And so, you do it sincerely, you do it in truth and in spirit. And I pray that God will help us in Jesus' name.

Some of us have been raised by God in different offices to equip people for the work of God. Because one of the things that is so strong in my spirit is before we start thinking that if I must serve God, then I require an apostle who is a religious man to train me, it is not just restricted to that. There are apostles in different places, there prophets, people speaking for God in different places. You only need their own ministry, you only need their own worship. When a pastor is pastoring you, he is worshipping God. When that man is helping you even in your office, guiding you, he is serving God and worshipping God. Enjoy his ministry, enjoy his service, enjoy his own kind of warfare. Because as he is laboring for your life, his own life is at stake.

I pray that God will help us in Jesus' name.
