Background and University Ministry

Omolara Adedeji (fondly called Lara Gboyega Adedeji) is a dynamic prayer minister, leadership coach, and personal development strategist. She studied Economics at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife (2004 – 2008), where she was an active member of Christ Ambassadors Students Outreach Fellowship (CASOR). In CASOR, she served primarily in the Prayer Subgroup, conducting prayer and deliverance ministrations and participating in campus-wide evangelism outreaches.

Early Achievements and Leadership Development

  • Leadership Roles on Campus: Beyond her spiritual leadership in CASOR, Lara also served at various levels of the fellowship leadership. She played key roles in ensuring the fellowship’s prayer cover, missions, and discipleship were thriving.
  • SIFE and Global Exposure: She was a passionate participant in the Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) program—representing OAU, as well as Nigeria, at an international competition in Singapore, returning with a trophy.
  • UJCM Drama Group: As part of the University Joint Christian Movement Drama Group, she honed her stage acting skills, merging her flair for drama with prayer and intercession.

Transition into Full-Time Ministry and Marriage

Upon graduating from OAU in 2008, she and Adegboyega remained close friends in the faith. Their deep commitment to ministry aligned perfectly, and they got married in 2012. They relocated briefly to Katsina State, where they established ministry outreaches, taught believers, and wrote and published Christian resources.

Core Ministry Focus

  • Prayer, Deliverance & Discipleship: Rooted in her formative years as a campus prayer leader, Lara has a passion for intercessory prayer, spiritual warfare, and deliverance, believing strongly in the power of the Holy Spirit to transform lives.
  • Teaching & Leadership: She co-labors with her husband in apostolic teaching, guiding believers into deeper knowledge of their Kingdom rights, responsibilities, and inheritance. Her speaking engagements often revolve around spiritual development, personal transformation, leadership, and family life.
