In this piece we are going to be looking at an interesting topic. It is a topic that should fascinate everyone that has been called in Christ Jesus, everyone that is looking beyond the vanity of life and is expecting to behold and attract and be transformed into the eternal glory that God has for us. So, in this piece, we'll be looking at “Beholding Christ and its benefits.” Before we go ahead, we'll start by looking at those two important words, number one: beholding, and we will look at who Christ is before we go along to other things that the Lord has for us.
So, when we talk about beholding because it's important to understand the concept and the meaning of the word ‘beholding’. It's important for us to gain clarity on that word so that we understand what it truly means. Because I'm sure this is not the first time many of us are hearing the word beholding. But what is the true meaning? What is the meaning of that word and how does it affect us? I want us to go with me to the book of Job chapter 34. And we will read verse 29, of that particular chapter. The Bible says: “When He gives quietness who then can make trouble. and when He hides His face who then can see Him whether it is against a nation or a man alone.”
“When he…” is talking about God giving “quietness, who can then make trouble?” Meaning that when He gives quietness, no one can make trouble. And when He hides His face, who then can see Him, meaning that if He hides His face, no one can see Him, whether He hides it against a nation or man alone, no one will be able to see Him. So, what is the essence of beholding? You cannot behold what is hidden, you cannot behold what has been hidden away from you, you can only behold what you can see. So, to behold is to see. If you are beholding something that is hidden, there is nothing to see. So, to behold is to see and what does that mean in deeper sense? Beholding is perceiving and recognizing, you cannot recognize what is hidden. Beholding is perceiving and recognizing and understanding; those three words are important.
Number one is perceiving; you must be able to perceive correctly while beholding. Number two, you must be able to recognize what you are beholding. Number three you must be able to understand what you are beholding. So, beholding is perceiving, recognizing, and understanding the subject or object of focus meaning there must be a focus, to behold is to focus on perceiving, is to focus on recognizing, is to focus on understanding a particular subject, or object of focus on. And while you are trying to recognize, you are recognizing strongly. So, I'm going to go over it again and clearly. So, what is beholding? Beholding is perceiving, recognizing, and understanding an object or subject of focus strongly and clearly. Without clarity, you have not beheld. Without a strong conviction of recognition and understanding, you have not beheld.
So, it's important to understand this concept to start with, so that when we start talking about beholding Christ, you will understand the depth of what we're talking about. We're not just talking about you looking, beholding is beyond you looking. Many people look, few see; it is those that actually behold that see. That’s why in Job 34 Verse 29, he says, when He gives quietness, who then can make trouble and when He hides His face who can see Him, meaning if He does not hide His face you are supposed to see Him. And you cannot see Him unless you behold Him. That's why the word is not to look. Behold is deeper than look.
So, the second focus is Christ. Who is Christ? Why should we behold Him? Colossians chapter 1 verse 15-20. Colossians chapter 1 introduces us to Christ. In some beautiful details Colossians chapter 1 verse 15-20.
“He is the image of the invisible God, [that's Christ], the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created; that are in heaven, and that on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers, all things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him, all things consist and He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence, for it pleases the Father, that in Him all the fullness should dwell and by Him, to reconcile all things to Himself by Him. Whether things on earth or things in heaven, haven made peace through the blood of His cross, this is Christ.”
This is talking about Christ. He is the image of the invisible God, He is the one that all things consist in Him, it has please the Father that in Him all things that may have the preeminence, that He may have preeminence over all things, not some things. Christ is not that little boy that was born in the manger. Christ is God that came down in the flesh that became God with us Emmanuel, that went to the cross and died, that decided to carry the whole sins of the world upon Himself and died. And after His death, He was buried on the third day He resurrected justifying everyone.
See that Scripture, it said in verse 20, and by Him to reconcile all things, no wonder in Revelation, when the creatures in heaven were saying, and praising the lamb, they said worthy is the lamb who has made it possible for us, not just those on the earth, even us in heaven, we have been redeemed by His blood, and this Colossians 1 verse 20 is also helping us understand that Scripture, it said, all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven. All things were reconciled by him, that's Christ. So, when we are talking about beholding Christ, from our definition, it is about perceiving Him, See, until you understand who Christ is, recognize who Christ is, perceive clearly and correctly who Christ is, you have not beheld Him. And that's why the word is beholding; it is present continuous.
You cannot get a Ph.D. of Christ, that you have finished studying Christ; there's no more to study. There's nothing else to study about Christ, am done beholding. You cannot be done beholding; we behold Him until we see Him. That's what Paul was saying to us. He said, when we see Him face to face, then we will be like Him. Until we see Him, we'll keep beholding and aspiring and looking forward daily to be like Him. He said but when we see Him face to face, our transformation is done. He said, because when He comes; this mortal flesh will put on immortality, then we will start operating and reigning with Him in the same body as He is. So, that's why the word is ‘beholding Christ’, not beheld Christ, or behold Christ, but beholding, it is a continuous activity.
Matthew chapter 13 and verse 14. The Bible says: “And in them, the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says, hearing you will hear and shall not understanding and seeing, you will see and not what perceive, meaning that when you behold when you actually see, you will perceive.” Meaning that when you behold, when you actually see, you will perceive. So, if in beholding, we are trying to also use Scripture references to solidify the meaning of beholding. To Behold is actually to perceive. How do you perceive Christ? How do you recognize Christ? We'll see that beholding Christ is deeper than the things we are doing. That God is calling us deeper. God is calling us deeper for a deeper experience. We've not known Him the way we should. We have not seen Him clearly and strongly enough. God is calling us deeper.
First John chapter 3 verse 1-2. These Scriptures are important so that we see them and know the heart of the Father. “Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called the children of God. Therefore, the world does not know us, because it did not what know Him.” The world is not beholding Him, so they don't know Him. But He said further, in verse two; therefore, the world does not know us, because he does not know Him, verse two, Beloved, now we are children of God and has not yet been revealed. I want us to understand this. It has not yet been revealed, what we shall be but see, everything that we are, and will ever be, is according to the revelation of Christ.
So, the Bible is saying to us, John is saying to us here, he said, it has not yet been revealed, what we shall be but when He is revealed, we shall be like Him. We shall be like Him when He is revealed. That’s how we must behold Him. We behold Him so that He is revealed; when He is revealed, we can recognize Him and understand Him and become transformed into Him. He said, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him, you see, the emphasis is on beholding, we shall see Him as He is. The ticket to becoming like Him is to see Him, the ticket to becoming like Him is to see Him. So that's why beholding is important. You cannot become like Him until you see Him. So, our appearance and our transformation are tied to beholding.
This is why beholding is important; 2 Corinthians chapter 4 verse 3. “But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing whose minds, the god of this age as blinded.” I want us to observe keywords. Whose mind? Where do you perceive from? How do you perceive with your mind? Bible says, whose mind they can't perceive because the god of this world has blinded their minds from perceiving. Who do not believe less the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God should shine on them. Unbelievers cannot behold, because their minds have been blinded, their minds have been veiled. So, if you're reading, and you cannot see Christ, it is not because your physical eyes are blind, your mind is blinded. The reason many people are in the church and not in Christ is because they can't see Him. They see the chairs and the microphone and the pulpit, they can't see Him; because their minds have been blinded. They see Him nowhere, they understand nothing, they perceive nothing. They can’t recognize Christ, so they go about with religious fanaticism. Why? Because their minds are being blinded.
So, we should understand that beholding is not something that just falls on some people, it is an experience in the Spirit that is made possible by access. Beholding is made possible by access. I want us to see 2 Corinthians chapter 3 so that we understand this access we're talking about, verse 13; we will read to 18. 2 Corinthians 3 vs 13-18.
“Unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away, but their minds were what blinded. For until this day, the same veil remains un-lifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ.”
Christ gave us access to behold. How many of us remember Exodus chapter 33, when Moses wanted to see the face of God, and he said, Lord, show me your glory. And God said to him, and God was not lying, He said, no man can see My face and live. And that's the truth, no man can see my face and live. He said, what I would do for you, Moses is that I will hide you in the cleft of the rock, and I will cause My glory to pass before you and you will see My back; because sometimes we don't understand the access that Christ has given to us, that we're not seeing the back of God that we can behold His face, the Bible called Him the image of God; so, you're actually looking at God.
Access is made possible in Christ, Moses was a friend of God, God was boasting about His relationship with Moses, and said to Miriam and Aaron, He said, if there's any prophet among you, I speak to them in dreams, and visions, but you see Moses, I speak to him, as a man speaks to his friend, face to face, and then what Moses was seeing was the back of God. But now we have access to behold His face, it is deep. That's why until we maximize the access we have; we will limit the possibilities that God has given us access to. But the Bible says the veil is taken away in Christ. We are no longer veiled, we can behold. but even to this day, where Moses is read a veil lies on their hearts. Nevertheless, when one turns towards the Lord, the Lord there is what? Christ Jesus. Nevertheless, when one turns to Christ, the veil is what? taken away.
The reason we can behold is because the veil is taken away. When we lift up our hands in worship, and we start experiencing the spiritual dimension of things, we are able to behold His face, our hearts are not blinded. Our minds are not blinded, we're able to behold, verse 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit. And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty to behold, we are no longer restricted from beholding. We have liberty to behold, you know, for the children of Israel, when they wanted to come close to God, you know, God would have appeared in tabernacle meeting, invited Moses, and Aaron and all the priests, and God will now tell them go and call them to come, I want to talk to them. So, their access was to the degree of Moses’ hearing.
They were even afraid to come near. They said, this mountain, Moses, go and meet Him. The way this mountain is, it is scary; go and meet Him, whatever He says, come and tell us. That was the relationship they had with God, But Bible says here there is liberty. We have the liberty to behold. So, we'll ask; who has bewitched us from beholding. Why are we limited? Even though we have access to beyond, you know this is one of the burning desires and passion and burdens that I have brought here that if we have such an access, why are we limited still? And we'll see some of the reasons, because the Holy Spirit was gracious to reveal some of them.
Verse 18 shows us how we behold. It says: we all with unveiled face because we have access beholding as in a mirror the glory of God, beholding as in a mirror the glory of God, and are being transformed into the same image, into the same image, not a set not any other kind of image, the same, from glory to glory, just has by the Spirit of God. Two things from this verse 18: when we behold, what we see, as we behold, differs in glory. This Scripture, if you read it in another translation, you will understand that when he said, we are transformed into the same image from one glory to another glory to another glory, meaning that, it depends on how much you perceive. It depends on how much you recognize; it depends on how much you understand that you enjoy the glory.
Remember that this glory is eternal; and the weight of this glory is beyond what human understanding can comprehend. Meaning that don't think the glory you are enjoying today, that is all to it, there is a deeper, there is more glory, if only you will behold again. So, as we behold in a mirror, we are transformed into the same image from glory to glory. I found out a very interesting Scripture in Psalm 119 and I will love us to turn to it. Psalm 119 verse 37; and I believe it is an instruction for us. David said, “turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things and revive me in your way.” He said turn away my eyes, we are all beholding things. David said, I don't want to behold worthless things.
In another translation, he said, I don't want to behold vanity. Turn my eyes away from beholding vanity worthless things. When there is such a glory, if only I can behold Christ, why should I give my attention to beholding something else? The depth of glory that is in beholding Christ should make us be consumed with passion, become an addicted Beholder of Christ. He said, turn my eyes away from looking at worthless things because beholding Christ is having eternal perspective to things. You can't behold him and be fixated on the carnal. You can't behold Him and be fixated on the things that are passing away. No, Jesus gives you an eternal perspective to things.
That's why Jesus said, don't focus your attention on an investment in this world where rots and moths can destroy them. He called them worthless things. He said but rather let your focus and investment be above where moth nor rot can’t destroy. You can’t look at Jesus and still be fixated on the world. That's why John was saying to us, you cannot love God and love the world. Anyone that loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him, because you can't be looking at God and be looking at the world at the same time. Psalm 17 verse 18, is also a very interesting scripture. Psalm 17 and verse 15. It says: As for me, I will see your face in righteousness. As for me, this is my determination.
So, beholding comes with determination. It's a commitment. It's a commitment. As for me, I will see your face in righteousness. I'm committed to it. I've determined to do it. And I shall be satisfied when I awake, see David had deep revelations because what he's saying here was like what we read in Second Corinthians, he said, and I shall be satisfied because I looked at your face in righteousness, He said, I shall be satisfied when I awake in likeness, I can’t look at you and not be in your likeness. I can’t look at you and not become like you, I can’t look at you and not be transformed into your image. See the revelation David was sharing here, as for me, I will see your face in righteousness, I shall be satisfied when I awake in your likeness. This is why we should behold him.
How do we behold Him? What is the posture? What should be the perpetual posture of our beholding? Philippians chapter 3 verse 8-10. Apostle Paul gave us a classic in this place. Philippians chapter 3 verse 8 – 10. I'll read it in the NKJV and also read it in the Amplified.
Yet, indeed, I also count all things loss, for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ, and be found in Him not having my own righteousness, which is from the law. But that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith, that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of His suffering, being conformed to His death if by any means I may attain the resurrection from the dead.
Apostle Paul said this is how I have chosen to perceive Him. This is how I have chosen to recognize Him. This is how I have chosen to understand Him, that I may know Him, that I may know Him because I want to see Him. There is a desire that I gain Christ, how do I gain Christ; by seeing Him and knowing Him, I want to read it in the Amplified.
And this so that I may know Him experientially, becoming more thoroughly acquainted with Him, understanding the remarkable wonders of His person more completely. And in that same experience, the power of his resurrection, which overflows and is active in believers, and that I may share the fellowship of His suffering by being continually conformed inwardly to His likeness, even to His death, dying as He did.
This is how Apostle Paul chose to behold and this is a great and classic example of how to behold, perceive Him as who He is, recognize Him for who He is, understand Him as who He is, so that you can focus on Him and see Him clearly. If all you focus on is how He was able to raise the dead, and you forget to focus on His suffering, you can’t see Him clearly. If all you focus on is, you know how He is seated in heaven, we are coming there because even if we are going to see Him clearly in heaven, you must see Him as who He is, because there’s a way, He is even presented in heaven so that we are not confused about who He is, how do we behold Him? you behold Him completely. You behold Him experientially; you will behold Him perceiving Him correctly.
Who is Christ? Christ is not just that baby that was born. He is not just that man that walked on the earth and did wonders and miracles. He's the same one that died, He's the same one that went into hell and stripped the devil of all authority and power, He is the same one that resurrected on the third day appeared to His disciples, walked with them on the road of Emmaus. And when He was speaking to them, their spirit burns within them. And He was the same Christ that was taken before them into heaven. Now seated at the right hand of the Father, the same Christ, you must see Him. No wonder He said, He says, all Scriptures speak of Me. How do you know that all Scriptures speak of Him? Because until you are able to recognize Christ Jesus in all the pages of the Scriptures, you are not beholding him.
Until you are able to perceive Jesus in all the pages of the Scripture, you are not beholding Him, until you are able to understand Jesus in all the pages of the Scripture, you are not beholding Him. Permit me to use this example of a father of faith. Bro. Gbile Akanni, I have seen that man preach Christ from odd Scriptures. He could go to the Song of Solomon and speak about Christ. He could go to Hosea, Obadiah. He could go to First Kings, Second Kings speaking about Jesus. What is the difference between that experience and our experience, he is a man that has chosen to behold Christ. The Bible is not a book of tales, is not a story of just champions. It is a complete experience of Christ from Genesis 1 verse 1 to Revelations chapter 22. Every chapter, every verse speaks of Him, until we get to that point where we can recognize Him, we can understand Him, and perceive Him in all the pages of the Scripture we'll keep beholding, that's the assignment.
Until we become like Him; that's what Apostle Paul was saying. He said I count every other thing useless, worthless that I may gain Christ. No wonder when he was in prison, he did not send for clothes, he did not send for shoes, he said gets me my writing materials, especially my parchment, get me those things that helped me to see and help others to see Christ. That was what he was consumed by, that was his passion, that was the burning desire within him, that Christ be revealed. That Christ be revealed, until we start seeing Christ, we are not beholding Him. John chapter 17 vs 3. We're looking at how to behold; John chapter 17 and verse 3. And this is eternal life; these are the words of Jesus. “This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God and Jesus Christ whom You have sent, that they may know;” how will they know because they behold, and what did he define as eternal life? Knowing God and Jesus that he has sent.
If only in this world, we have hope, we are of all men most miserable. Because see, what we are after is the life that transit here, eternal life. And he said this is eternal life, knowing Him. Nothing else matters. What other life do you want or desire, apart from eternal life, is there any other life we desire? If that's the life we desire, then we must behold him. Because it is in beholding him that we know him. And that's how we attain eternal life. Revelations chapter 5 verse 6, I will read it straight in the Amplified;
“And there between the throne with the four living creatures and among the elders, I saw a Lamb, Christ standing bearing scars and wounds that's how he is standing before the throne, as though it had been slain, with seven horns complete power, and with seven eyes, complete knowledge, which are the seven Spirits of God, who have been sent on duty into all the earth.”
Christ Jesus, Revelation five says, He said, He is standing before the throne as a Lamb that was slain. So, how will you behold Him and not fellowship with His suffering? Even in heaven, He is standing like a lamb that was slain with his scars and his wounds. So, how can we behold Him and not identify with His suffering? How can you behold Him and not identify with his scars and his wounds? We must behold Him completely; we must behold Him completely. He is such a deep personality, that it takes access by the Spirit, to behold him completely. And that's why it is an eternal assignment beholding Christ.
Once you come into Christ, we start an eternal journey of beholding Him. We behold him here on this realm, and we continue to behold Him in eternity. I want to show us a Scripture Revelations chapter 1 verse 17-18. John, His disciple had seen him when He was on the face of the earth. He had seen Him, he knew Him; verse 17, and when I saw Him. Remember this, John is the disciple of Jesus, one of the apostles. When Jesus was on the face of the earth, he had eaten with Him, drank with Him, took journeys with Him, and when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead but He laid His right hand on me saying, do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. I am He who lives and was dead and behold, I am alive forevermore. So, your beholding cannot be terminated by time, I am alive forevermore. Amen.
I have the key of hades and of death. I am alive forevermore. You can’t behold Him yesterday, and behold Him today and have the same view, He is dynamic, just like God! The Bible says the 24 elders’ day and night no rest, they cast their crown before the Lord and they worship. They look at Him beholding Him and they see another dimension of Him they did not see before and they will cast their crown again, and they will worship, don't think they are fools, it is because God is God.
As believers, we can't be tired of beholding Him because He is not the same. He is not static, He is dynamic, there are several dimensions to Him, there are several dimensions to Him. Even though Jesus said I am the same yesterday, today, and forevermore, the same He means the consistency of His person, He is not given to change; He won’t say, I saved you yesterday, and today, I am not saving you, the consistency of His person. But when it comes to the dynamism and the dimensions of His glory, you will see differently, that's why it says from glory to glory, from glory to glory.
So, we behold Him completely, we don't behold just one section of Him. That all that I want to know is the prosperity of Jesus. I don't want to know His poverty, what I want to know is the superstar of Jesus, I don't want to know His sufferings. All I want to know is just this aspect of Jesus, any other thing you are not interested, then you're not beholding because He must be a complete walk to see Him. You can't say all you have seen is His hand and you are satisfied. What about the beauty of His face? What about the beauty of His eyes? When John was describing Him; he says, he said His eyes are like fire, he said His cloth is like wool, he said, His feet like brass. There's a way he described it, and we see all the things John was describing to us, it was based on the limitation of his understanding; because words cannot sometimes describe what you see. Apostle Paul said he was caught up to the third heaven. He said the things he saw is not worthy for his lips to utter. Believers, this is what we have been called to; it is not a boring journey. It's a journey of glory to glory.
So, what are the benefits of beholding Him? There are five of them. Let's look at them very quickly. Second Corinthians 4 verse 6. You know, the Bible makes us to understand that when we receive the light of the knowledge of God which is by beholding Him, Second Corinthians chapter 4 verse 6. It says: “For it is the God, who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shown in our heart, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God, in the face of Jesus Christ; in His face.” So, when we behold Him, we receive the light of the knowledge of the glory of God.
No wonder God commanded Moses, He said when you want to bless the children of Israel, this is how you bless them, “the Lord bless you, the Lord keep you, the Lord cause His face to shine upon you.” Because there's something about His face. He said we received this in the face of Jesus Christ. And it is not just by the face, you have, you are seeing the face, beholding the face, you will receive the light of the knowledge of the glory of God. That's the revelation, the light of the knowledge of the glory of God is deep revelations. That's what we receive by beholding Him. You receive revelation, no wonder Moses was able to write the Book of Genesis because of the light that he received from beholding God.
Number two, James chapter 1 verse 25. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues, beholding is not a one event thing, it is continuous. He said, but He who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it and is not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the word, this one will be blessed in what he does; blessing! The blessing of God comes to us by beholding His face, looking into the perfect law of liberty, and continuing in it, Christ is the perfect law of liberty. In Him, the law and prophets were fulfilled. When you behold Him, you will receive blessing in whatever, you are blessed by beholding Him.
Number three, Second Corinthians 5 verse 17; we have read that before, just to buttress these benefits of beholding. It says: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” We have not read it before. If anyone is in Christ, you are in Christ by beholding Him. If anyone beholds Christ and becomes transformed into the same image, Bible says that you are a new creation, old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new. There is transformation in beholding Him, total transformation that makes you a new creation by beholding Him. Revelation 22 verse 4, that's the fourth point benefits of beholding Christ.
Revelations chapter 22 verse 4. “And they shall see His face, and His name shall be on their forehead, those that see His face is name shall be on their foreheads, we carry His name forever, everlasting imprints of Christ. Beholding Him is to have an everlasting imprint of Christ. We carry His name forever, belonging to Him forever. The last one, Genesis 1 verse 27 we are familiar with it, Bible says, God made man in His image and after His likeness, beholding Christ is taking you back to Genesis 1 verse 27, where you become a man in the image and likeness of God. Beholding Christ puts man in that original state, Genesis 1 verse 27, where you are in the image and likeness of God, a partaker of eternal life; where you operate as gods.
When that man at the Beautiful Gate, was looking intently at Peter and John, they said, silver and gold, we don't have, but such as we have because we are, we are beholding Him. Such as we have, when you behold Him, you will have Him, such as we have, we give to you in the name of Jesus Christ, rise up and walk. When you behold Him, you will have Him! When you have God, you have God with all His possibilities and His abundance and His fullness. Beholding Christ gives us the opportunity to have Christ, Peter and John had Him, they said such as we have, they had Him to a degree of glory that the Bible says aprons were taken from them; Paul, and he was healing the sick, the shadow of Peter was healing the sick. That's a dimension of glory in beholding.
Can we behold Him to become? You know I was reading the story of Kathryn Kuhlman some days back. How she got divorced from her marriage, she suffered a lot of stigmatizations and all that and she wanted to commit suicide. She wanted to just end her life saying you know what? let's just end it here. You know, the shame and the hurt were too much. And, you know, in that story they said she decided, she had an encounter with God and decided to press in into God. And she pressed in into God. She said at that point, nothing else in the world mattered to her. She said all that she was seeing was the glory of God. She said, she became so intimate with the Holy Spirit, that if somebody says anything to hurt Him, she will physically find herself crying. She said that’s how much you know; she had become soaked into the person of God. She said when she came out of that experience and started ministry, she found out that all she needed to do was to carry the presence of God to where she is, to wherever God wants. She said, she started seeing miracles she had never seen before. She started seeing the glory that she had never seen before. What was the secret? Beholding, beholding, beholding.
Until we behold Him clearly, we can't become like Him. There is a dimension of glory that the world needs to see. There is a dimension of Christ's glory that the world needs to encounter if only we will yield ourselves to behold. David said, “turn my eyes from looking at worthless things”, can that be our passion also? Can that be our prayer also? Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things, help me to behold you. I don't know what has dropped within your spirit. I don't know how the Lord has reached out to you through this piece. I believe that this is a time to have that personnel talk with God. See there's a weight of glory that the world has not seen. If only you will behold him.
